Introduction of Amazon Web Services (AWS)

AWS is an Amazon Web Service that Provides distributed information technology infrastructure where so many different inbuilt IT resources. In this Age AWS facility in a boom on demand. They Provide different services like infrastructure as a service, software as a service, and platform as a service.

Cloud Computing is the on-demand delivery of computer power, database, applications, and other IT resource through a cloud service platform by the internet with pay as you go pricing model.

It also introduced a Cloud Storage system Previously which Usually use to maintain big data and private security. In the fixed cost estimate, they provide all IT infrastructures like development platform, database cloud, programming models with library key, networking assets and computing system, it comes with good cost-effectiveness, gives long term commitment, as compared to traditional IT environment It is flexible to provide effortless hosting. It doesn’t require any other technology or migration of IT tools. AWS also forwards a proposal on whether we want to run the application and the service together. Here all kinds of elastic balancing techniques & auto-scaling maintain automatically. it handles the unpredictable and predictable load. It gives satisfaction to all clients. It has a security key to maintain all data safe and secure.

Traditional IT resources Vs  AWS: If we talk about this era, we can find that traditional IT resources have made huge investments such as a company has to set up its own server, router, network connection, etc., which will directly lead to increase high expanse. so If any company only works for 8 hours, but they have to pay for their serious 24/7 hours because they can’t shut down their system.

Finally, we have come to AWS, the company providing all these services in one platform with a reliable cost facility. If we are working 8 hours then we only have to pay for that period. This service provided easy maintenance and time-saving.

History: this scenario has started in 2003 by Mr. Chris Pinkham & Mr. Benjamain Black. They elaborated all business scenarios and where they need IT infra. The model Of the Idea was successful So they Released a Number of versions as follow

  • 2004 Simple Queue service

  • 2006 Amazon web service

  • 2007 Multiple Developers had signed in for AWS

  • 2010 Amazon.com

  • 2012 Re-invent conference.

  • 2013 Cloud Computing certificate

  • 2018 machine learning specific certs.

AWS Identity Access Management:  It allows to set up the user interface their role and all related permissions. It also gives access to use scenarios on different platforms. with the help of identity management system businesses or the organization sector can centrally manage their Plans.

Features Of IAM: these are given below

  • Federated identity: it follows a single sign-on (SSO) where user can log in with a single ID & Password. that means the user can directly access their all social media accounts like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc with one ID Password.

  • Multifactor authentication: this is the core type of component storage, which allows multiple verification factors like OTP, Fingerprint, etc.

  • Shared access account: user can share the info to the particular project only.

  • Granular Permissions: it sets access to users so that they can use a particular service.

  • Network Controls: identity access management ensures that users can only use the service in the organization’s network.

  • Costless use: there is no additional charge in AWS. The client can be charged only for other services.

AWS Security assertion markup language: here all service providers and identity providers are different entities, this feature provides Saas solution to the client.

Types of (SAML) Security assertion markup language

  • Identity Provider

  • Service Provider

SAML Assertion:: it is an XML framework that usually drives XML documents that an identifier sends to a service provider with user authentication.

There are three types of SAML Assertion

  • Authentication

  • Attribute

  • Authentication decision

AWS S3: this is the first service of AWS, It means simple storage service. Storage based on Object-Oriented storage system. with the web service it’s easy to use and maintain data or information.

S3 feature Concepts are given as follow

  • Bucket: it stores the Objects. It has no limit of space, so we can store multiple objects here. Only bucket creators can delete the bucket not other users of AWS.

  • Objects: it’s an entity of bucket s3 which describes the data.

  • Key: it’s a unique segment of an object.

  • Regions

  • Data Consistency Model.

  • Snowball: it’s a data transport solution that leads secure applications to transfer big data or a bunch of data in or out of AWS. it is the simple, fast and reliable also 1/5th cost of the high-speed internet. In every region 80TB snowballs.

Features of Snowballs:

  • S3 compatible endpoints

  • File interface

  • Clustering

  • Faster data transfer

  • Encryption

  • Run AWS Lambda function.

Conclusion:-

In the new environment where on-demand technologies are on the rise, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has emerged as a promising option for enterprises looking for secure, flexible, and low-cost cloud computing resources. AWS helps companies handle a variety of assets, including development, game development, data processing, storage, and much more.

In today's dynamic environment, getting a hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a great competitor in the Data Science race.
